BOLD is committed to protect every Ohioan’s right to vote. BOLD will work to improve our state’s election system and fight back against efforts to suppress our votes. Our organization will work to coordinate and execute advocacy campaigns in conjunction with our allies and members to reform elections and modernize the voting process.
You must register or update your voter registration by October 7 for the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election.
You have two options:
Print your request and mail it to your county Board of Elections by October 6. Fill out an absentee ballot application online and download the PDF and print from your printer OR Have an application mailed to you by your Board of Elections. Call your Board of Elections to request an application.
Registered voters may cast an early in-person ballot at their county board of elections. Click here to find the early in-person voting location in your county.

September 20: Military & Overseas Absentee Voting Begins
October 6: Deadline to request your Absentee Vote by Mail application
October 7: Deadline to Register to Vote
October 8: Early In-Person and Vote by Mail Begins
October 29: Absentee Voting By Mail application received
November 1: Mail-in ballots must be postmarked
November 5: General ELECTION DAY, polls open 6:30am – 7:30pm
November 9: Military & Overseas ballots must be received
